The bigger picture - I didn't have a team so I asked the mysterious 'Gary' if he could match me up with a team. Yes 'Tuesday Stars'!
No-one from 'Tuesday Stars' actually turned up! 
There was a corporate team from Citibank - but only two of them had showed up - so I joined them - along with another guy no-one had ever met before.
So then we still had a problem the team had to be mixed - we needed at least one woman! After a little arm twisting we separated a teenager from her friend (that team had two girls - how greedy can you be?) and borrowed her. She was good - she and her friend were at the Ashcombe tournament earlier in the year.
So as a scratch team we played five won four.
Most of all we had a load of *fun*!
