Look out NWDC is behind you

Well - after a huge dose of: "It's going to close!" "Oh no it isn't!" "Oh yes it is!" I am now dizzy from it. 

The latest news is that the NWDC has agreed to take over the contracts of the NWLL staff until 31 March and pay them.  So, that means the centres - Lime Kiln in particular will stay open, at least until 31 March.  That's then another hurdle as they transfer to DC Leisure.  With luck that one will be planned earlier in advance and will run smoother. (Help - What am I saying?)

I phoned Mark Leighfield (one of the LK duty managers) this evening.  There does seem to be an atmosphere of considerable relief down there.
