Minutes of previous meeting
The previous minutes were agreed.
Chairmans Report
The chairman reported
he was standing down after 2 years as Chairman (Due to his new job that
would be taking him away from the area).He reported that he was pleased
with the development of the club, and in particular with the Club
Achievement Award, received at the end of season tournament this year.
The overall structure of the club is good and both the A and B team have
performed well with the B team achieving a mid table position in their
first year in Division 1, and reaching the final of the end of season
tournament (Beaten only by the Westbury A team!!!). The A team were
runners up in the division and won the end of season tournament, and had
just returned from the S.W.V.B. Championships with a very creditable
performance (7th place).

No report was tabled.
Treasurers Report
A summary of accounts
was circulated and is attached to the minutes .In summary Sue was
pleased to report that the club's finances were in the black to the tune
of £253.91. It was felt that this was due to collecting court fees on a
monthly basis which gave a positive cash flow and encouraged players to
turn up for training, and paying in a block booking for courts saved
17.5% VAT:it was also a lot easier for Sue to collect the money and not
to miss out on any training time.

Rob raised the question of the post fixing holes ;the consensus was that these should be drilled out clean by the club.
Get more people along to the club!!!! --Advertising poster to be
placed on sports centre and other likely notice boards-possibly sticking
posters on notice boards of large companies/organizations.---Anyone got
any contacts or can put one up in their own office?
Start of season tournament- The club has never entered this and it was agreed that we should try and field our team/s
Stuart has a spare shirt and Olivier owes the club for his shirt
(say£10-15) Rob thanked Stuart for his contribution again in providing
refereeing on behalf of the club to honour our League commitments.
Cliff needs a cheque for £42-00 to cover the cost of engraving this years trophies.
It was noted that a generous donation of team shirts to the B Team by
Sue had saved the club money and the club thanked Sue for her financial
support.
Payment for next season: Club Membership Fees -To remain at 30.00 ;
£20.00 for juniors (or in full time education) Training Fees - To be
paid monthly @ £15 Member & £10 Junior Beginners : 1st session
free!!
All fees to be reviewed by the committee in November 05.
